Hydroelectric Corporation announces that the company is in a process to sign an agreement with a world class yard in China, to build a 300 meter tall powerplant to be installed in Chinese waters to provide clean and renewable electricity to millions of people. The outcome will be a 480MW powerplant

Based on the strategic positioning in Chinese waters, Hydroelectric Corporation has also selected a turbine vendor close to the yard, and received firm quotes on the design requested. Macivor INC has signed a EPC contract to deliver the topside, and Heerema or Saipem will most likely be the party installing the offshore powerplant by using two barges.
